Iris was 18 months of age when she died in 1901. The Cemetery was in service for 100 years, being established in 1859 and burials ceasing in 1959. It was rededicated as the Pioneer Memorial Park in March 1988.

The names of those known to be buried in the old cemetery are listed in a paved area with names imprinted on each brick (left).

Alice was a sister of Vincent's Father, Joseph.

Below: This Easter Card was given to Vincent by his Mother in 1913.

The card contains the only example of Jane Wickenton's handwriting among the ephemera found at the Wickenton's Malvern home.

Below : Copies of post cards sent

to Vincent by his Maternal Grandparents, George and Margaret Wynd.

The postcards were sent to their Grandson from the town of Sale, in Gippsland, where they lived.

On a poignant note, the New Year Greetings card from Grandfather George Wynd was signed on the 1st of January 1915. George died four days later, probably at about the same time the postcard was delivered to Vincent.

After the family arrived  in 1866, George Wynd became a prominent citizen of Sale during his life there of just under five decades.

His work as a building contractor gained renown. Among his many fine legacies in Sale are the Catholic and Anglican Cathedrals.

This is the Parish Church of the village where George Wynd was born in  1831. The foundation stone of the church was laid the same year, and the building was opened in 1833. There has been a church on the site for more than 800 years.

Errol has the earliest parish register of baptisms and marriages in Scotland, dating from 1553.

There are three bells in the tower, one of which dates from 1637.
